Mitchel Hamauei, who also owns the Middle Eastern Market on Everhart Road, opened the restaurant in October to pump some flavor into the restaurant offerings in town.


Hamauei heads the kitchen preparing food. And don't expect fast-food falafels. Hamauei touts a fine dining experience with homemade sauces, marinades and salad dressings requiring lots of time to perfect.


He marinades beef tenderloin and chicken overnight for souvlaki or beef kabobs and shish taouk or chicken kabobs. The entrees are served on a bed of rice with a salad for $9.95. If you're looking to ease into the cuisine, Hamauei suggests trying the kabobs.
